(TAMPA, Fla.) – Quincy Jordan, a principal transformation consultant and Dan Neumann, a senior agile coach at AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—will lead two presentations titled, “Living Off an Agile Landscape: Agile Farming vs. Gardening,” and “Agile Assessment: Helpful Remedy or Harmful Toxin?” at the 2019 AgileIndy conference on Friday, April 26, 2019, in Indianapolis.
Held annually, the one-day AgileIndy conference gathers thought leaders and agile practitioners from around the country for intense learning, networking and exploration of agile concepts. The goal of the conference is to unite and educate the software industry on adopting an agile mindset. The sold-out event—which caters to new or seasoned agile practitioners—will feature sessions ranging from agile basics to leadership to technical practices.
During his session, Jordan will explain the difference between agile gardening vs. agile farming—and what it truly means to live off an agile landscape. “Living off the agile landscape is about evolving from one small environment to scaling and systems thinking,” said Jordan. “It takes more than collaborative workspaces and morning standup meetings to be successful—and I’m excited to help others understand the best practices for scaling agile.”
“Assessments can either be helpful or toxic—but it all depends on how they’re structured,” said Neumann. “A lot of companies are asking questions like, ‘How agile are we?’ and ‘Are we getting better?’ I’m excited to share what I’ve learned about using assessments to answer those questions.”
