AgileThought’s Dan Neumann to Speak at Washington D.C.’s Largest Agile Community-Organized Event

(TAMPA, Fla.)– Dan Neumann, a Senior Agile Coach at AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—will be speaking at the AgileDC conference in Washington D.C., on Monday, October 15, 2018.

Known as the largest agile community-organized event in the Washington D.C. metro area, AgileDC gathers thought leaders and agile practitioners from government, not-for-profits, and private industries to grow the local software development community through in-depth sessions and collaboration. This one-day event offers nine tracks: Agile Outside IT, Government and Not-For-Profits, Big and Complicated Agile, Getting Started, Code and Tests, Business Point of View, Improving your Game, Games for Learning, and Other. In addition to being a volunteer-organized event with a diverse group of speakers, AgileDC is also charitable—following the event, all remaining conference proceeds will be donated to charities.

Neumann will be speaking from 4:15–5:00 p.m. EDT on October 15. During his session, titled, “Agile Assessments: Helpful Remedy or Harmful Toxin?” Neumann will introduce several agile assessment approaches and tools while exploring the merits, potential uses and possible downsides of each approach.

“When organizations decide to embrace agile, often times their next step is to conduct internal assessments or engage outside vendors to determine their agile maturity,” said Neumann. “I’m excited to discuss why organizations invest in these assessments and highlight the benefits and unintended consequences for companies to consider.”
