(TAMPA, Fla.)– Steven Granese, the Vice President of the Transform practice at AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—will be speaking at Capital One’s exclusive agility conference, AgileCon, on Tuesday, Nov 6, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia. Granese’s session, titled, “Follow the Money: How to Talk to Executives About Agile,” will take place from 10 – 10:45 a.m.
Held annually, AgileCon is a commercial tech agility conference that connects Capital One’s product, operations and engineering leaders with industry thought leaders for a day of learning and collaboration. This year’s event—which is following the theme, “Poke the Box”—is meant inspire new ways of thinking and will offer sessions on agile, leadership and DevOps to over 300 attendees.
During Granese’s session, he will teach agilists why trust and empathy are crucial to effectively communicating with executives, and share lessons learned from his experiences leading enterprise organizations through their agile journey—including what has worked and what has failed.
“I’m honored that Capital One asked me to share my insights with their employees. Over the years, I’ve learned a great deal from educating senior executives about agile, and I’ve collected some interesting stories along the way,” said Granese. “I’m excited to share those stories and spark new ideas and a new appreciation for the tangible business value that agile adds to an organization.”
