(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) – Jose Chinchilla, the data analytics practice lead at AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—will lead two presentations titled, “Azure IoT: An Interactive Demo,” and “Azure Data Factory + SSIS: Migrating your ETLs to the Cloud,” at SQLSaturday Jacksonville, which is hosted by the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS), on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
Held across the nation, SQLSaturday is a free training event that features local speakers who provide diverse, high-quality technical sessions about SQL Server, business intelligence and analytics. Each SQLSaturday event is organized by local community members who seek to provide speaking and training opportunities to Microsoft data platform professionals.
During Chinchilla’s IoT demo, attendees will learn how to connect, monitor and manage devices using Microsoft Azure IoT Hub. Chinchilla will also teach attendees how to successfully migrate ETL workloads to Microsoft Azure during his Azure data factory session.
“I’m excited to be part of SQLSaturday Jacksonville and network with other data professionals who come together to share, learn and connect,” said Chinchilla. “This particular SQLSaturday, which falls on May 4th, will have a Star Wars theme, so expect to see Jedi and Sith Lords during the event. Join me to learn how Azure can support your IoT initiatives and get ready to interact with a real IoT device connected to Azure IoT Hub.”
