(ATLANTA) – AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—announced that it will sponsor the 2019 Women in Technology (WIT) Connect event at the Georgia Aquarium from 6 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019.
WIT Connect is the premier fundraising and networking event for technology leaders in the Atlanta area. Over the years, the event has raised over $3.2 million to support the development of young girls and the advancement of women in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). Each year, the event features an executive auction, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with Atlanta’s top corporate executives. In addition, a handful of organizations will present funded scholarships to individual recipients from WIT Girls and WIT Campus.
2019 will mark AgileThought’s second year as a WIT Connect sponsor. “Every year, I look forward to seeing how WIT Connect creates new opportunities for women in STEAM through academic scholarships and fundraising,” said Chris Martin, the general manager of AgileThought’s Atlanta office. “Through scholarships and education programs, these women are empowered to break through barriers and fully realize their potential in STEAM.”
