(ATLANTA) – AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—announced that it will sponsor the Women in Technology (WIT) Women of the Year Awards at the Georgia Aquarium from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018.

Every year, WIT Awards celebrates women who are actively engaged in Georgia’s science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) community with roles in small to enterprise-sized organizations and one nonprofit organization. This year’s event will also recognize one middle or high school girl as the “Girl of the Year” for her participation in WIT Girls—a program that collaborates with the Georgia business community to support and inspire middle and high school girls to break through barriers and advance opportunities in STEAM fields.

“WIT Awards provides the perfect setting to celebrate the visionaries and leaders who are truly making a difference in our technology and academic community,” said Chris Martin, AgileThought general manager of Atlanta. “AgileThought is proud and honored to be a WIT Partner—and we’re grateful to be a part of the celebrations.”

As a member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Society, WIT educates middle and high school girls about STEAM while also providing networking and professional development opportunities for women. With program involvement from over 2,500 professionals, 500 students and over 250 volunteers, WIT is known as the largest, most active organization of its kind in the region.
