(TAMPA, Fla.) – AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—announced that it will sponsor the 6th Annual Women in Technology International (WITI) Geek Glam event on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. The fashion-based networking event will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center (BGFJCC) in Tampa, Florida.

Every year, WITI Geek Glam unites women from the Tampa Bay area for a night of fun, fashion and fundraising to support local female technologists. Attendees will be able to network with over 300 peers, shop local vendors, watch a fashion runway show and participate in a silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the WITI Tampa Network Scholarship Fund to support future generations of Tampa Bay technologists.

Founded in 1989, WITI was designed to advance women by providing access to—and support from—other professional women working in all sectors of technology. With a global network of talented women and a market reach exceeding two million, WITI is the premier global organization for empowering women in business and technology.

“WITI has had—and continues to have—a positive impact on the female tech community in Tampa Bay,” said AgileThought president Jeff Alagood. “We’re proud to sponsor WITI Geek Glam and to show our support for WITI’s mission: promoting female leadership in tech.”
