(TAMPA, Fla.) – Taylor Howard, vice president of the Build practice at AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—will take the plunge in the Big Brother Big Sisters of Tampa Bay’s “Over the Edge” fundraising event on Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Tampa, Florida.

The one-day event gathers 76 “Edgers” to “rappel for a cause” by individually raising a minimum of $1,500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Each participant will have the opportunity to rappel down 17 stories of the Hilton Downtown Tampa. All funds raised for the event will support the one-to-one mentorship program and help expedite mentors for the many children on the program’s waitlist. No climbing or rappelling experience is necessary for individuals who wish to participate.

“I am honored to go ‘Over the Edge’ in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay mentorship program,” said Howard. “Mentoring has a huge positive influence on our youth, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay has been a constant support system for the children of our community. I am proud to promote their mission and help them in any way that I can.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization founded with the goal to provide one-on-one mentorship for at-risk children.
