(TAMPA, Fla.) – AgileThought— a leading provider of agile-first, end-to-end digital transformation and consulting services to Fortune 1000 clients—teamed up with IntelAgree and the Tampa Bay Rays to host an AI and machine learning panel at Tropicana Field on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019.

The panel—which was moderated by IntelAgree’s John Wagner, the executive vice president (EVP) of products and engineering—featured James Parks, AgileThought’s chief data scientist; John Higgins, the Tampa Bay Rays’ senior vice president (SVP) of administration and general counsel; and Will Cousins, the Tampa Bay Rays’ director of baseball research. The panelists covered everything from how AI influences decision-making in baseball and contract management to how companies can build a robust data science capability.

“It was an honor to participate on this panel with John Higgins and Will Cousins and learn how they’re using AI to influence everyday decisions both on and off of the field,” said Parks. “With the right data science tools and expertise, companies across all industries have the opportunity to produce powerful analytics and make better, faster decisions.”
