(TAMPA, Fla.) – Dan Neumann, a senior agile coach at AgileThought—a leading provider of agile-first, end-to-end digital transformation and consulting services to Fortune 1000 clients—will lead a student workshop at Florida State University (FSU) on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, in Tallahassee, Florida.
This event is open to all FSU College of Business students and will explore teamwork and learning environments with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. This methodology seeks to create a more effective understanding of the world and its possibilities, and is a process designed to enhance innovation and business performance. The specifics of what these students build is based on a scenario or problem, but it is up to each participant to use the LEGO® bricks to shape their understanding of challenging situations and explore options to address them.
“Too often, solving problems and creating strategy is relegated to the domain of boring meetings and death by PowerPoint,” said Neumann. “In this workshop, attendees will be introduced to an alternative approach called ‘SERIOUS PLAY®.’ This approach will not only teach participants about teamwork and their ideal learning environments, but also demonstrate how ‘play’ benefits businesses through effective communication, commitment and insight.”
Neumann also hosts the Agile Coaches’ Corner podcast, which offers advice to agile practitioners and business leaders on how to improve the way they work to achieve their desired outcomes. To learn more, listen or subscribe to the podcast.
